These treatments are aimed at alleviating pain.
Treatments:
Trigger Point Injections
Trigger point injections help relax and soothe muscle pain. Trigger points are tight knots or bands of muscle or connective tissue that cause pain. They are most commonly found in the back and neck. Some trigger points cause pain even at rest and others only cause pain with pressure. During the injection a small needle is inserted into the trigger points and a local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory medication are injected.

Botulinum Toxin Injections for Migraines
The number one prescribed treatment for chronic migraines is botulinum toxin. It is estimated that 70% of patients have a reduction in their migraines following treatment.
During this treatment botulinum toxin is injected into multiple areas around the head and neck.
Treatment is intended for patients age 18 and older who experience 15 or more migraine days per month.
You may feel results as early as 4 weeks after receiving treatment. Full effectiveness is measured at week 24. It is recommended that treatment be repeated every 3 months. Some patients may require more than one treatment before seeing a reduction in the frequency of migraines.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept insurance, however we can accept some HSA cards. If you would like to use your prescription insurance to purchase Botox (which is the majority of the cost of the treatment) we can place an order through your pharmacy. Bringing your own Botox from the pharmacy will reduce the treatment cost to $375.
